Changes are a happening – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Footsteps photography has decided to go one step further and specializing in Newborn and Maternity photography. Due to a high demand on our schedule, we will no longer be accepting any sessions regularly that do not fall under the newborn, maternity, or children category.

 

I’ll be refocusing my vision for Footsteps Photography for the remainder of 2014 and into the following years. I always knew in my heart that when we moved back to the states (whenever that might be) that I would refocus FSP and make my brand more of a boutique experience and also focus in on the Maternity through babies first year. So why not start that RIGHT NOW while still here in England.

While FSP will still welcome families within a newborn or maternity session, family sessions will only be offered twice a year. Once in the late spring/early summer and again in the fall. These will be in the way of a family Marathons with packaged pricing.

Thank you all for helping me grow and supporting me through this essential transition.

The Ultimate Vintage Engagement Session – Footsteps Photography, Couple Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Prepare yourselves for massive photo envy and possibly some drooling over the gorgeousness of this couple. Collin and Lindsay have been married for a year and are planning an official church ceremony this September. They wanted some “engagement” photos to use at the wedding which will have a vintage theme. Feast your eyes on this!

A big thanks to my friend Kalyn for letting us borrow her bike. It was the perfect compliment to this already-stunning picture. The roses in the basket reflect some of the colors to be used at the ceremony. I can just imagine what an incredible event it will be!

We had some fun playing around. I think Collin better watch out; Lindsay’s got some guns and could probably take him!

I don’t think these two could take a bad photo if they tried. Each shot is just better than the last.

We finished the session in the poppy fields which perfectly echoed the colors for the upcoming celebration. Lindsay and Collin, thank you so much for an incredible time and best wishes as you continue your life together as husband and wife!

English Poppy Fields Family Session – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

The Schofield family really wanted their pictures set in a poppy field so after much patience and scouting, we were finally able to make it happen.

Baby Oaklee was happy as can be, giggling at her parents and attempting to eat the poppies.

And if you’re wondering how they came up with such a unique name, Oaklee was named after the one and only Annie Oakley. Pretty creative!

Such a gorgeous session in classic colors. Thanks for being so patient in making this such a beautiful shoot, Schofield family!

Girly Giggles Children’s Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

This session is just straight, girly, gorgeousness. I originally was contacted by this family to do a maternity session but baby Monroe had other plans and decided to make her appearance before we even had a chance to shoot mom’s beautiful belly. She joined big sisters Journey, seven years old, and London, five years old, and oh my word, this is one beautiful family!

Mom did an impeccable job picking out props for her newest little princess. Monroe is girly as can be in her lace and pearls. What an absolute doll!

Mad Hatter Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Good looking genes run strong in this family – just take a look at these beautiful sisters who are just one year apart and so excited to welcome their new baby brother to the family.

Baby Bronson is a little guy coming in at just 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Just a few days old and he already has the entire family completely smitten.

I loved all the great handmade hats Bronson’s mom brought in for the session and thought the black and white mohawk cap was especially great. I really do have the best and most creative clients!

Bronson, you are just perfect and I’m sure your daddy is excited to not be completely outnumbered by the girls at long last. Thank you for the sleepy smiles and beautiful photos. I can’t wait to watch you grow and change; welcome to the world!

Golden Hour Maternity Session – Footsteps Photography, Maternity Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

The Demesa family is expecting a little girl and mama definitely is rocking that pregnancy glow!

I loved the pink theme in anticipation of adding a girl to the family.

Big brother Inigo is two and full of energy. He was a good sport, posing for a few shots and then having fun playing while we captured mama’s perfectly round baby bump.

This mama is certainly beautiful all the time but with professional hair and make up plus this gorgeous purple maternity dress, she was practically glowing. It didn’t hurt that we had perfect light. All the sun glows you see are completely natural; captured in camera!

This custom sash is a great way to add some extra detail to maternity shoots and as an added bonus, it can be used once baby arrives. Hint – keep an eye open for this in baby Demesa’s newborn session!

Glowing mama, perfect bump, and a sweet baby growing inside. We can’t wait to meet her!
