I Mustache You a Question Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Mr. Rowan is back for his six month Session. At his last shoot, we went all black and white so this time around, we switched it up a bit and added some color. Big sister Sophia was there to help him out; look how much he’s grown!

In addition to his sister, Rowan brought along some of his best buds.

Rowan was looking quite dapper in his fancy duds – all purchased at Next which is a great resource if you’re looking for kid’s clothing. Mom made the fedora (how cute!) and while we all loved the mustache, he wasn’t quite as keen.

Sadly, this will be one of my last sessions with the Hillard’s as they are moving soon. So it’s on to another escapade for this little adventurer. Safe travels, Rowan and family!

Solids and Stripes Family Session – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

With three kids, life can get busy and time passes you by. This was the case for the Bradley family who were long overdue for some family photos.

Before our session, mom Heather mentioned that Dad would likely be wearing his signature hat. Apparently, it goes with him everywhere and he is very attached to it. Sure enough, he was sporting it for this session and I’m sure his kids will get a laugh out of it when they look back.

Jewel Tones 6 Month Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Miss Cora is back for her six month Grow With Me session! Happiest and most smiley baby ever.

Mom Mallory made this beautiful jewel colored blanket. I just can’t enough of this little munchkin.

We also recreated a shot that big sister London did in her baby photos. Simple brown background with a ruffled romper. Sweet as can be!

Cora, you are an absolute doll. Can’t wait to see you again for your smash cake session.

click MAMA click Photography Workshop – Get out of Auto mode

Amanda Webb of Footsteps Photography  and Jennifer Butterfield of JButterfield Photography  are teaming up to offer a 1 day photography course geared towards moms who want to get out of Auto mode and get better photos of their kids and/or learn more about your camera.

Do you have a new camera with lots of buttons and dials you don’t know they do?
Are you a mom just looking to take better photographs of your children?
Do you and your family travel and want to better document your journeys?
Are you stuck on Auto mode feature but would love to learn how to shoot on manual?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then this class is for you!!!

 Class size will be limited to 8 to keep the group small and allow more hands on learning and time for questions

 

Class includes:

  • Full day of learning from Jennifer and Amanda at a Historic English Estate near RAF Lakenheath
  • Lunch,  cupcakes, and warm drinks
  • A goodie bag with some of our favorite things including a great book to continue your learning
  • AND, class participants can share and ask follow up questions on a private facebook group

Participants should have/bring:

  • Weather appropriate clothing (wellies/boots highly recommended)
  • Pen and paper (tablet optional)
  • DSLR camera with fully charged battery and memory card (a 50mm prime lens is highly recommended, but not required)
  • Camera’s instruction manual
  • List of questions

Brief class syllabus

  1. We are going to be focusing more on the shooting aspect for this workshop
  2. Learning your camera and what the buttons do and when to use them (DSLR based cameras)
  3. Aperture, Shutter and Manual settings – when to use them
  4. Lighting your kids naturally
  5. A few key tricks to make a better visual image
  6. Modifiers – free and cheap
  7. Histograms
    (While the bulk of the camera information will be geared more towards DSLR cameras, the knowledge and tricks can apply to any camera type.)

Little Lion Prince Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

There’s no way you’ll get through this session without a smile on your face. Dominic is hilarious and has an absolutely contagious grin.

His first birthday theme was “Little Lion Prince.”  As usual, Cake, Love, Crossbones created an amazing cake complete with a crown on top. The little prince had a matching cap and got to work smashing his cake.

Despite just learning how to walk, as soon as his dad turned on some music, Dominic went crazy and boogied all over the studio.

Dominic, you are such a ham and a joy to be around. Happy first birthday to one very handsome prince!

Sleepy Swinging Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Patrick and Amanda welcomed baby girl Marilyn Jane into the family with this sweet and girly shabby chic session.

Marilyn looked like an angel posed among all the pastel props. It will be the perfect compliment to her nursery!

We even worked in a tribute to the Minnesota Vikings – purple and gold has never looked better!

Such a beautiful little bun; sweet dreams Miss Marilyn!
