Vintage 7-Up Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall
There must be something in the water here because lately, all my baby boy clients have had long, dreamy lashes. Lucas was no exception; just look at this gorgeous little 6-month old.

After seeing this vintage 7-up crate in another session, Lucas’ dad requested we use it in at least one shot.

Lucas has just discovered his feet (as you may have noticed in the first picture). I still haven’t gotten over those beautiful eyes; watch out world, this little guy is going to be a stunner!

Lucas is just learning to sit up on his own so this bucket gave him just enough support that he could have a little independence. Looks like he enjoyed it!

And to round it all out, here’s Lucas with his most prized possession – a little blue car. What a handsome fella!

Clean and Simple Baby Boy Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Baby Photographer near RAF Mildenhall
Look how much little Noah has grown since his last session!

Gorgeous eyes, bubbly smile and perfectly round and chubby. This is one cute baby.

Wanting to continue the tradition started by his brothers, we kept to a color palette of white and neutrals for this Grow With Me Session.

Noah you are too handsome with all that gorgeous hair and sparkling eyes. Can’t wait to see you again!

Architectural Couple Shoot – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall
I met up with Alicia and Tyler on a beautiful, crisp morning in Cambridge. The crocuses had just started to peak their heads out in anticipation of spring, and there was a dusting of frost on the grass.

Before our session, Alicia revealed that she loves architecture so I knew the universities would provide us with some beautiful backdrops.

As with most of my sessions, I let Tyler and Alicia lead the way for poses making for natural, in the moment shots. Even though it may not have been his favorite thing, Tyler was still a great sport about having his photo taken and making his wife happy!

Tyler and Alicia, you’re a beautiful couple and I had a great time capturing your relationship!

Foggy Maternity and Nautical Newborn Sessions – Footsteps Photography, Maternity and Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall
The Williamson’s joined me on a gorgeous, foggy evening to capture the last few weeks of pregnancy before they welcomed their new baby boy into the family. Mama looked gorgeous in this vibrant shade of purple and long, blonde hair.

Two became three with the arrival of Alexander.

It’s safe to safe Jennifer and Zachary are just a little bit enamored with their new baby boy.

Alexander’s nursery is decorated in red, white and blue so we had some fun incorporating those colors throughout his session.

I adore these sleepy little grins!

And a few last shots of this precious new boy. His parents brought the anchor, a gift from his baby shower, and we can’t wait to use it in his next Grow With Me session as a great size comparison. Welcome to the world, sweet Alexander!

Classic Black & White Newborn Session Sneak Peek – Footsteps Photography
A few months ago on my facebook fan page I had posted a newborn images with her mother in black and white and said that one day I would love to photograph a styled newborn session in nothing but a classic black and white style. I was thrilled when my return maternity family session messaged me and said their little boy Rowan was here and that they would love to do the a session in Black and white. I’ve got a great love of black and white photography and being able to add the cute and cuddliness of a newborn baby I’m in heaven.
I think that comes from being a formally trained photographer and back in the dark room days of developing my own film and shooting nothing but black and whites. I’ve got boxes full of old negatives, prints, contact sheets and past projects in storage somewhere. The other day I pulled these film cartridges out of an old camera bag and found one still with undeveloped unprocessed film on it from the bulk film loading day where I purchased my film in 1000shot rolls and wound it onto film cartridges.

Cameras have came a long way in just the 13 some odd years since I used my first film camera the Pentax K1000. Today I shoot with a digital Canon 5D Mark iii camera and a variety of lenses. This image below was shot with a 50mm lens, my still all time favorite lens. So for this session I wanted to try something different, I photographed the entire session in monochromatic.

Straight out of camera shots
Big sister Sophia snuggling with her baby brother. This one is one to blow up BIG on the wall.
More images coming, these are just the sneak peek for you all.
