Storytelling sessions – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall

For more than a year I’ve been working on and perfecting my skills in the art of taking and editing  video shorts to include with still photography shots into a beautiful video. called “Fusion”. Fusion video sessions are beautiful storytelling sessions, that showcase all the personality of the child  {family or baby} along with beautiful portraits.  I’m ecstatic for FUSION to launch and be available starting in May for booking at theMayFair Bazaar weekend.

 

 

At the end of your session, you will receive a professionally edited video telling your story along with printable digital images. Be sure to stop by the Mayfair Bazaar for a first change at booking one of these storytelling sessions for your children or family.

Pink and Polka Dots 6 month Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Little Miss Quinn was back in the studio for her 6 month Grow With Me Session. Cute as can be in a polka dress and pearl bracelet that was her momma’s when she was a baby, we got some great smiles out of her.

Her mom loved this girly pink frame and Quinn seemed equally enamored.

Look at those beautiful blue eyes!

This handmade outfit has been in the family a while and I think the pink and peach tones are beautiful with Quinn’s hair color. And how sweet is that little curl on her forehead? Such a cutie!

click MAMA click Photography Workshop – Get out of Auto mode

Amanda Webb of Footsteps Photography  is offering a 1 day photography course geared towards moms who want to get out of Auto mode and get better photos of their kids and/or learn more about your camera.

Do you have a new camera with lots of buttons and dials you don’t know they do?
Are you a mom just looking to take better photographs of your children?
Do you and your family travel and want to better document your journeys?
Are you stuck on Auto mode feature but would love to learn how to shoot on manual?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then this class is for you!!!

 Class size will be limited to 6 to keep the group small and allow more hands on learning and time for questions

 

Class includes:

  • Full day of learning with Amanda
  • Lunch,  cupcakes, and warm drinks
  • A goodie bag with some of our favorite things including a great book to continue your learning

Participants should have/bring:

  • Weather appropriate clothing for outside portions
  • Pen and paper (tablet optional)
  • DSLR camera with fully charged battery and memory card (a 50mm prime lens is highly recommended, but not required)
  • Camera’s instruction manual
  • List of questions

Brief class syllabus

  1. We are going to be focusing more on the shooting aspect for this workshop
  2. Learning your camera and what the buttons do and when to use them (DSLR based cameras)
  3. Aperture, Shutter and Manual settings – when to use them
  4. Lighting your kids naturally
  5. A few key tricks to make a better visual image
  6. Modifiers – free and cheap
  7. Histograms
    (While the bulk of the camera information will be geared more towards DSLR cameras, the knowledge and tricks can apply to any camera type.)

Beautiful Blue Eyes Newborn Boy Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

This session was all about the eyes. Looking at his mom and dad, it’s no wonder Baby Max inherited such soulful baby blues!

I was absolutely mesmerized by this little guy.

Prepare yourself for lash envy. Just look at those long, beautiful, blonde eyelashes. Its seems the boys have the longest lashes.

Max is a bit of an international baby what with his mom being American and his dad being British. We had fun representing the two countries as well as just capturing this sweet new bundle of life. Can’t wait to see this great family again!

A-Tisket, A-Tasket Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

More newborn goodness! Talia is a gorgeous little girl with dark, curly hair and deep brown eyes. I think she looks just like her daddy!

Talia’s mom requested we use splashes of raspberry and aqua for this session and I think it was a great choice. We even got a funny face out of Miss T in the process!

I found these baby-sized butterfly wings online and shared them with Talia’s mom. She ended up buying them and using them in the session for this adorably sweet shot of her sleepy baby girl.

And finally, we used the much-loved cherry blossom backdrop to coordinate with Talia’s nursery. There are already plans in place to use this vintage basket in future sessions to show the growth of this sweet girl.

Daddy is my Hero Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Look who’s growing up and showing off her international roots!

You should recognize this sweet face from her newborn session. This time around, we were celebrating Daddy’s big promotion at work with a super secret photo shoot just for him.

And as I always like to do, we took a couple shots with the prop bed from her newborn session. It’s always amazing to see how much these sweet babies change and grow in just a few months. You’re such a doll!
