A giant congratulations to Andrew and Nicole on the birth of their little boy, Gerrit.

Gerrit was born just before Halloween which meant he would be making his grand debut on the family Christmas card this year. I think that’s just about the best gift anyone could ask for!

He was a great sport, letting us pose him in all different positions with a plethora of adorable hats and outfits.

Mama Nicole did a fantastic job crocheting all these great little hats. They just add to the total cuteness of this little guy. Welcome to the world, Gerrit!

While all babies are beautiful, this little guy might just take the cake for dreamiest baby ever. I had to stop myself from covering him in kisses as he was just so perfectly yummy.

Smooth, creamy skin topped with the sweetest little, black curls – I could have photographed this little guy all day long.

The pure simplicity of this session evokes the innocence and newness that is a brand new baby. Baby H, you can come back anytime! You are just perfect and oh, so beautiful!

Sweet As Candy Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

My favorite little fashionista is back for her Smash Cake session and my, oh my, is it yummy!

But before we get to the cake, just look how much this sweet girl has grown! Quinn is one of my Grow With Me babies which means I was lucky enough to shoot her at three months, six months, nine months, and now twelve months.

Quinn’s mom brought this great first birthday sign along with the pearl anklet which she wore as a little girl and the diaper cover from Quinn’s first session with me. All the details added up to make some very special images.

This little buggy was a first birthday present and as you can see, Quinn knows exactly what to do with it – clever girl!

And now, on to the cake! I had a hard time not dipping into this tasty treat myself; it looked so delicious.

As usual, Quinn was dressed to impress; her bow and frock coordinating perfectly with the candy store theme. Happy first birthday, Miss Quinn! You have grown so much in the past year and I am so lucky to have been a part of that.
