Balloons and Bubbles Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Sometimes, it’s tough to be little! Miss Emma was in studio for her Smash Cake session looking gorgeous in purple and pearls. And despite some tears, she’s still cute as can be.

Emma seemed to be a bit happier outside and the beautiful sunshine on the green grass made a lovely backdrop for this blue-eyed beauty.

Balloons, bubbles, and ribbons – what more could a little girl ask for? Emma, you looked darling in your purple tutu and wispy blond hair. Happy smashing little lady and remember: it’s your party, you can cry if you want to. If only we could all look so adorable as you while doing it!

Rock-A-Bye Baby Maternity and Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Maternity and Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

I had the pleasure of photographing the Ames family at their maternity and newborn session and capturing their excitement over adding a little girl to their family of three.

Mom had lots of fun ideas she wanted to incorporate in her maternity shoot. I think her olive skin is absolutely radiant in the purple gown. Motherhood definitely suits her!

This little beauty finally made her grand entrance much to the delight of her big brother and parents.

I always love incorporating personal items into my sessions and the beautiful handmade pastel blanket was the perfect prop for this sleepy angel.

Baby Brooklyn looked adorable in every single shot. We just couldn’t get enough of the headbands and hats. Such a little doll!

And for the icing on the cake, the queen upon her throne. Safety is always of utmost importance especially when dealing with precious newborns. So these are composite images – two separate exposures combined in photoshop to create the finished product. We always keep hands on the baby and would never actually hang them from a tree branch. But it sure is fun to make it appear that way!

Coral and Lime 3 Month Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Get ready for some itty bitty baby sweetness. Josslyn Jai is just three months old and cute as can be.

This pastel blanket belonged to her dad as a child and fit perfectly with our color theme for the shoot.

Modeling is hard work and it didn’t take long for this little beauty to fall fast asleep.

Lemonade Mini Sessions – Footsteps Photography Children Photographer RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

Summer is almost here and what a fun way to celebrate than playing pretend at the Lemonade Mini Sessions.

Footsteps Photogragraphy’s (its really Alexa Marie’s) little lemonade stand is opening July 5th. This is a sweet little session made for both boys and girls! FSP have taken a favorite childhood past time that never goes out of date and is bringing a bright summery twist. I love all of the promo images from this shoot and It just brightens up the day. I hope you will all make it out and cherish these just like I do 🙂

Sessions are limited. The mini session date is July 5th with a rain date scheduled for the following day July 6th. All session times will remain the same.

A few details:

Sessions are for children only (must be able to sit up unassisted)
Upon completion of the session, an online password protected gallery will be emailed to you to select your 5 digital images from approximate 7-10 business days from session date.
Online gallery will be live for 1 week (7 days)
Participants must complete the contract/model release upon sign up (sent to your email)
Full payment is due at the time of booking to hold your session time

Springtime Tea Party Family Session – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

For many of my clients, their time in England has an expiration date so it’s important to them to capture the beauty of this temporary home. The Maynes family was hoping for just that and I think we certainly accomplished our goal! Meeting at the Abbey Gardens in Bury St. Edmunds, we were treated to beautiful spring weather and blooming flowers.

Mom Araceli did a fantastic job of styling her family of four – Dad Lyden, eight year old Natalia and three year old Zarahi looked perfectly polished.

Before the session, Araceli mentioned that Zarahi loves the color blue. A girl after my own heart! We quickly bonded over all my blue accessories and her pretty blue dress. The girls even brought along their bunnies for a very special tea party in the grass. Very British!

Maynes family, I wish you the best of luck with your move back to the States. I hope these photos will always bring you fond memories of your time here in England!

Lovely Lilac Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

After months of anticipation and lots of beautiful belly shots, baby Harper entered the world.

I love the way Jessica and Tim gazed at their new little girl. And how amazing does this brand-new mama look!

Oh! The lips…

Harper was an itty bitty thing coming in at just six pounds and 19 inches long.

She’s already Daddy’s little princess.

I love these detail shots. Who do you think she takes after – Mom or Dad?

And for the final shots of her newborn session, we took advantage of the gorgeous purple lilacs in bloom. Welcome to the world, Miss Harper. We’ve all been anticipating your arrival for the past nine months and you were definitely worth the wait!
