Studio Props – Footsteps Photography RAF Lakenheah/Mildenhall Newborn Photographer
One of the most asked questions when parents-to-be inquire about booking a newborn session is “Do I have to bring all of the hats and prop type things with me or do you have them?
No, You do not have to bring anything with you outside of a normally stocked diaper bag. At the studio it is fully stocked with a variety of hats, wraps, backdrop and also prop type items. One of the newest its the little moon. Isn’t it just adorable.

Another favorite item is the pint sized airplane. This is good for babies up to about 12-24 months.

And of course a variety of little beds are available for babies and toddlers. **these items make a great grow with me photo series**

This is no where near a full list just a sampling of the items.
I do however encourage you to bring any special items that you have with you such as military uniforms, baby blankets, heirloom items, and other hand made items for instance.
If you have not already done so, You can take a visual tour through FSP’s studio here to view a selection of hats and backdrops.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful morning and beautiful light than this.

I love the one-on-ones with her and her parents.

We even had a few photo bombing visitors sneak into the pictures several times.

Beware of the back Duck, he tries to steal flowers off of little girls shoes.
This little duck just wanted his close up.
Its a good thing I carry my “duck scarier” with me during photo session. It was very helpful 🙂

Lauryn’s Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
Get ready for photo cuteness overload! This little sweetheart is Lauryn – just a year old and already a fashionista!

Her mom supplied all the outfits and left no detail behind. Just look at those little footless sandals and fancy pearls!

The pink background perfectly highlighted the creaminess of Lauryn’s skin.

Between the gorgeous headband and yummy ruffle cake by Holland of Cake Love Crossbones, this entire smash cake session was absolutely stunning. The tutu-clad redhead didn’t hurt either!

It wasn’t long before the headband came off and the cake was demolished and the studio turned into a frosting explosion.

Happy 1st birthday, Miss Lauryn! You were a cake smashing star!

Hudson Family Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
We’ve been blessed with a warm and sunny summer – from what I hear, this is a rare treat in England. So for my shoot with the Hudson family, we took advantage of the sunshine and flowers and met at a local park. Ruby is four and loves being a big sister to her brother, one-year-old Toby. Lots of kisses and sweet moments between these two!

There’s something special about the bond between a mom and her little boy.

Bright colors, warm sun, and a lovely family.

Gorgeous eyes

Cherish had this dress specially made for her daughter. The combination of balloon prints, polka dots and vintage prams was so sweet for a little girl.
The pink parasol is a Footsteps Photography prop and provided the perfect backdrop to show off Ruby’s curly red locks.

This session was full of energy and personality, not just from the kids but the parents as well. At one point, the father, Nick, climbed a tree much to the amusement of his little ones below.

After sharing this great expression from Toby, it was said he was practicing his “haka” face. Nick is a kiwi and I learned haka is the traditional ancestral war cry of the Maori people of New Zealand. Very intimidating, Toby!

Throughout the entire session, Nick and Cherish were so attentive and involved with their kids. You could tell this is a family who loves to play together and mean the world to one another.

Cuddles and giggles all around!
