Quinn Temple 3 Month Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
This is little Miss Quinn who came in for a Grow With Me Session at three months old. Smiley, happy and absolutely adorable in her ruffled romper and matching headband.

Her mom adored this shot because we managed to capture Quinn’s signature hand pose. Apparently, this is how she touches all her toys – dainty and quizzical. Too funny!

This was a special request as Quinn’s big brother had posed with mom the same way when he was Quinn’s age. It’s always fun to keep traditions alive.

Quinn will be back to visit soon for her six month Grow With Me session. I can’t wait to see how much she’s changed and grown. See you soon, Miss Quinn!

Logan Stevenson Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
This little guy is Logan – the biggest ham and an absolute cutie pie. This ended up being a last minute booking due to some unforeseen circumstances so we were all really happy that it was able to come together so quickly.

His mom said they loved the color blue but other than that, I could do whatever I liked for styling their session.

The vest and pocket square are just too much and the light blue of his shirt really brings out his eyes.

Just like his sign says, Logan is always smiling!

This was a fun change from the cakes I’ve seen recently. Cake, Love, Crossbones designed a “naked cake” – you’ll notice there’s no frosting on the outside to highlight the beautiful ombre design on the inside. This is a great option if you want to reduce the amount of sugar in your cake plus it makes for some lovely photos.

There were so many great shots from this session that I had to include them all. Logan was a great sport and even though we got a few tears, as the saying goes, “it’s my party, I’ll cry if I want to.” As you can see, it was short lived and soon he was back to the task at hand.

Happy 1st birthday, Logan!

Fall Maternity Session with Horses and Ducks – Footsteps Photography Mildenhall Maternity Photographer
This maternity session felt a bit like a trip to the zoo with all the creatures we encountered. If being an animal whisperer is any indication of parenting abilities, the Moran’s are going to be pros!

We met for an early morning session near Ely Cathedral. This is the perfect time of day to capture the sunlight illuminating the medieval structure making for some beautiful storytelling photos.

These two are expecting their first baby – a little boy.

It’s always great when clients bring sentimental items to the shoot. It’s details like the elephant lovie and sonogram picture that really make these sessions so personal.

Such a handsome couple; no doubt their little guy will be just as cute!

These two were so fun to photograph as they were naturally affectionate and obviously very much in love.

Mama Moran will be heading back to the States to give birth to her little boy so the next time I see her, she’ll have a little one in her arms. There is nothing like the anticipation of your first child and I’m so lucky to be able to capture some of that excitement for my clients.

And since the start of this post began with a friendly horse, it’s only fitting that I include this collage of the stray ducks who followed us EVERYWHERE! I’ve never seen anything like it; I’m not sure if they were just excited about the arrival of Baby Moran or they really wanted to have their photo taken. Either way, it made for a memorable shoot.

Bennett Couple Fall Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
You may recognize this pretty face from my summer session with Chandler Bennett. I met his mom at the bazaar, where she fell in love with one of my canvas images and booked a shoot for herself and her husband.

This is the image she had requested and I think it’s absolutely stunning.

While we ended up having a very overcast day and lots of mud, the colorful fall leaves helped to mask all of that.

I can’t say enough about the vibrant colors of fall; they really make these photos pop. Also, isn’t that the most perfect scarf for this location?!

Thank you both for a great session!

Cardinal’s Baseball Newborn Boy Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall
Introducing Mason Mertz. This little love bug was born November 15, 2013, at 7 pounds 13 ounces and 19.4 inches long.

I think he looks like his Daddy and I love how he’s holding his hand up as if to say, “Hello! I’m here!”

This beautiful bench was made by his daddy from different pieces he picked up at an antique store.

Mason looks so cute in all these different settings; I’m not sure I can pick a favorite!

As you might have guessed, Dad is a big Cardinals fan. Maybe Mason will grow up to be a famous baseball player!

With his November birthday, we were able to get a couple shots just in time for Christmas cards. This may just be the cutest snow bunny ever!

I don’t normally show the outtakes from newborn shoots but this one was too good to pass up. Mason decided to relieve himself, as babies are apt to do, all over mama’s lap. Luckily, we were prepared as this is a common occurrence at newborn sessions. I love that his parents just laughed it off and went with the “flow.” Mason Mertz, making his mark on the world since 2013!

And what would be a day out at the park without playing and some ducks.
