Stunning Silhouette Maternity and Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Maternity and Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

This beautiful mama really wanted a silhouette shot. After seeing that perfectly round belly, can you blame her?

We did a combination of studio photography as well as location shots. Not knowing what to expect from February weather, we lucked out with a dry day though, as you can see, it was a bit windy!

I love how this custom red maternity dress looks with dark hair not to mention that it works just as well indoors as outdoors!

After much anticipation, Matthew Charles made his grand debut looking quite the dapper little man in his suspenders and bow tie.

Isn’t he just lovable?! For the rest of the session, we stuck with blues and browns to go along with the nursery decor.

Matthew Charles, you can come snooze in my studio any time you like!

Harry or Hermione Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Harry Potter or Hermione Granger? The verdict is in and it is…Harry! Jennifer and Jesse have had a little boy.

Introducing Nolan Luke, who was full of adorable expressions.

We soaked up all that newborn goodness from tiny toes to fluffy baby hair and everything in between.

Nolan’s parents are huge Harry Potter fans (as you may have guessed from the title of this post) and brought in their treasured books as props for the shoot. I predict these will be well-loved by this little wizard in the years to come!

Since Nolan’s gender was a surprise at birth, we weren’t sure if this session would be full of pinks or blues. I think the blue suits him quite well and the little caps just add to his cuteness.

For their birth announcement, Jesse and Jennifer used these Mickey Mouse ears so we had to get a shot of Nolan in them as well.

Nolan was born at 7 pounds, 13 ounces and 21 inches long. But all curled up, he just looks so tiny just like when he was in the womb.

Jesse and Jennifer, thank you so much for letting me capture this exciting new journey in your life. And congratulations on your beautiful, handsome and perfect little boy. I can’t wait to watch him grow. Welcome to the world, Nolan!

LaShieka, Malcolm and Semira will soon be a family of four and it’s safe to say they are all pretty excited about it!

They braved the cold and even a light dusting of snow for their session – a special treat for this part of England.

LaShieka was radiant in this coral dress and I love how it played off the golden sunlight and winter trees.

It wasn’t long after their maternity session that I finally got to meet the newest family member – Logan!

He was a bundle of love and rolls; we had to get some detail shots because babies don’t keep.

Logan was happy to be posed and styled while he snoozed away. He made my job easy!

We finished up with some fun props and coordinating outfits. I love how the moon bed can be feminine or masculine depending on how it’s styled. And I think Logan has found his color – that burnt orange looks just gorgeous on him. Such a beautiful boy joining a great family. Congrats to the four of you!

Pinks and Mint Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Little Miss Ava Nadine was in my studio, brand new after being born at six pounds, 11 ounces and 20.25 inches long.

Mom chose a mint, pink and champagne color scheme; perfect for this little beauty and her adorable fur sibling!

This next series of pictures is incredibly sweet as Nadine is posed on top of mom’s wedding dress. The beautiful beaded band around her waist is actually the headpiece her mom wore on her wedding day. Such a sentimental and special way to incorporate some family history into her baby photos!

Nadine was a doll; snoozing away most of her session and letting us pose her in all sorts of adorable ensembles.

Each picture was cuter than the last and by the end of her session, Nadine treated us to these big, bright eyes. Welcome to the world, little one!

Babies, babies, babies! There is just something so mesmerizing about a brand new life and little Miss Sydney is no exception. She joins Mom, Dad, big brother, Skylar, and big sister, Audrey. There is no shortage of love for this little gal!

Mom requested pinks and purples with a touch of blue – just my style.

Sydney’s nursery theme is girly superhero – look at this little caped crusader!

Such a precious, little tiny thing. Sweet dreams, Sydney!

Lost Boys Maternity and Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Maternity and Newborn Photographer near RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall

Occasionally, I am able to meet clients at their homes for more of a lifestyle and documentary type session and the results are always special and unique. Celeste and Jaime are expecting a little boy and wanted to capture the last few weeks before he joined their family.

Any guesses on the nursery theme?

Just as soon as we finished the maternity session, it seemed like baby Madden made his grand appearance. He joined a very loving and protective furbaby named Fifa.

Just look at that adorable little mohawk!

Jaime and Celeste created a magical nursery for their little guy and the love is in the details. From the Lost Boys sign to the customized treasure chest, you can tell these are some excited parents!

A big congratulations to Jaime, Celeste and of course, Fifa, on the arrival of Baby Madden!
