Josslyn Jai is nine months old – can you believe it? Look how much she’s change from her three month session, to six months

and now nine months.

We stuck with her green and pink color combo. Such a sweetheart.

Josslyn gave us lots of great grins, some clapping and a perfect tongue shot at the very end. Before we know, she’ll be back for her one year Milestone session. I can hardly wait!

Three Generations Family Shoot – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

This family could easily come off the pages of a glossy magazine – they are that stunning. Mom Aleah had been following my Facebook page for awhile when she contacted me about booking a family session a whole six months in advance (round of applause for being organized, right?!). She liked my attention to detail, texture, and my ability to capture the subject and was hoping to get the same for her family. Take a look – I think we accomplished all of that and more!

This is one of their favorite spots to take a family walk and it made a beautiful backdrop for this attractive crew.

Karise is the oldest at nine years old.

Dresden is six and has football (or soccer, for the Americans) on the brain.

And finally, there’s two-year-old Phoebe; a ball of energy and goofiness.

We were even lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa along. With three little ones in tow, they were a great help!

Dustin and Aleah, you have a beautiful family. Thank you for letting me capture these special memories for you!

Noah’s Ark 1 Year Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

After a year of documenting this little guy from snuggly newborn to a toy munching butterball and a man on the move, Noah has finally made it to the big number ONE!

We met up at his house in order to capture some of his favorite things. You’ll notice he likes to chew the nose off his bear above – little goofball! And this bench is the perfect spot as it depict Noah and all the animals in his ark.

With two older brothers to look up to, Noah gets up to plenty of mischief. It’s hard to believe when you see this cute face, though. Happy first birthday, Noah!

Sweet As Candy Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

My favorite little fashionista is back for her Smash Cake session and my, oh my, is it yummy!

But before we get to the cake, just look how much this sweet girl has grown! Quinn is one of my Grow With Me babies which means I was lucky enough to shoot her at three months, six months, nine months, and now twelve months.

Quinn’s mom brought this great first birthday sign along with the pearl anklet which she wore as a little girl and the diaper cover from Quinn’s first session with me. All the details added up to make some very special images.

This little buggy was a first birthday present and as you can see, Quinn knows exactly what to do with it – clever girl!

And now, on to the cake! I had a hard time not dipping into this tasty treat myself; it looked so delicious.

As usual, Quinn was dressed to impress; her bow and frock coordinating perfectly with the candy store theme. Happy first birthday, Miss Quinn! You have grown so much in the past year and I am so lucky to have been a part of that.

Mustard Yellow Fall Family Mini Session – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

This family could have stepped out of the pages of a catalog – impeccable styling, naturals in front of the camera and one of the most adorable little girls you’ve ever seen!

We met at Ely Cathedral for a Fall mini session before this family moved back to the States. Just a reminder to all my current and future clients to make plans to book your family sessions. Heading into 2015, Footsteps Photography will have two options for family session: late spring and fall. It’s a great way to capture memories and images in this beautiful part of England where we live.

We had incredible light to compliment this beautiful family. This little one is practically glowing! Seeing the smiles on her parent’s faces, I think her joy is contagious. Such a sweet, young family.

Korean Hanbok Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Get ready for some serious color and amazing culture in Addison’s Smash Cake session.

Being of Korean descent, Addison wore a traditional hanbok for the first part of her session. It includes a hat and small pouch though Addison was more interested in playing with them than modeling them. The color and detail were absolutely gorgeous – it’s no secret that turquoise is my favorite color so I really loved the top coat with gold detail.

Inside Addison’s pouch was some money. According to Korean tradition, a child is presented with a variety of objects upon their first birthday. Whatever items the child picks is said to predict their future. Since Addison chose money, tradition holds that she will be rich. Not a bad destiny if you ask me!

Addison’s mom makes some adorable baby outfits and quilts so it was no surprise when she outfitted her little girl in this darling ruffled jumper. She made the peacock headband and brought in the info sign – no detail went unnoticed making this such a special session.

Cake, Love, Crossbones did another outstanding job with this cake; matching the ruffles and colors perfectly to the birthday girl’s outfit. In the final photo, you can see ingenuity at work. After smashing up her cake like a pro, Addison found this straw inside which was acting as a support for the different tiers. Clever girl, she quickly realized she could suck the cake through the straw and keep her hands clean. I predict a bright future for this little one. Happy first birthday, Addison Renee!
