Smash and Splash Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Look who’s one and just getting in their top teeth – Joziah!

Joziah’s mom challenged me to use lots of bright colors but keep a masculine feel. After sharing a picture of his birthday outfit, Souder’s Kreations came up with this great bunting while Cake, Love, Crossbones did a fantastic job on the smash cake. He was a little unsure at first but after the first taste, Joziah was ready to go to town!

This little guy is such a ham; we had a great time capturing his many faces.

After all that hard work smashing cake, it was time for some splashing. Not only did Joziah love it but it made for a much less sticky ride home from his colorful and yummy session!

These photos may just make you wish for a little girl to dress up and spoil. Juliet’s cowgirl themed smash cake session is on the blog today so saddle up!

Mom brought this great outfit complete with paisley, lace and denim. Perfect for a little cowgirl to get messy in!

Then it was into the tub because really, you can’t go wrong with a naked baby and bubbles. Happy first birthday to the cutest little cowgirl out there!

I Mustache You a Question Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Mr. Rowan is back for his six month Session. At his last shoot, we went all black and white so this time around, we switched it up a bit and added some color. Big sister Sophia was there to help him out; look how much he’s grown!

In addition to his sister, Rowan brought along some of his best buds.

Rowan was looking quite dapper in his fancy duds – all purchased at Next which is a great resource if you’re looking for kid’s clothing. Mom made the fedora (how cute!) and while we all loved the mustache, he wasn’t quite as keen.

Sadly, this will be one of my last sessions with the Hillard’s as they are moving soon. So it’s on to another escapade for this little adventurer. Safe travels, Rowan and family!

Jewel Tones 6 Month Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall

Miss Cora is back for her six month Grow With Me session! Happiest and most smiley baby ever.

Mom Mallory made this beautiful jewel colored blanket. I just can’t enough of this little munchkin.

We also recreated a shot that big sister London did in her baby photos. Simple brown background with a ruffled romper. Sweet as can be!

Cora, you are an absolute doll. Can’t wait to see you again for your smash cake session.

Changes are a happening – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Footsteps photography has decided to go one step further and specializing in Newborn and Maternity photography. Due to a high demand on our schedule, we will no longer be accepting any sessions regularly that do not fall under the newborn, maternity, or children category.

 

I’ll be refocusing my vision for Footsteps Photography for the remainder of 2014 and into the following years. I always knew in my heart that when we moved back to the states (whenever that might be) that I would refocus FSP and make my brand more of a boutique experience and also focus in on the Maternity through babies first year. So why not start that RIGHT NOW while still here in England.

While FSP will still welcome families within a newborn or maternity session, family sessions will only be offered twice a year. Once in the late spring/early summer and again in the fall. These will be in the way of a family Marathons with packaged pricing.

Thank you all for helping me grow and supporting me through this essential transition.
