Little Acorn Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

A giant congratulations to Andrew and Nicole on the birth of their little boy, Gerrit.

Gerrit was born just before Halloween which meant he would be making his grand debut on the family Christmas card this year. I think that’s just about the best gift anyone could ask for!

He was a great sport, letting us pose him in all different positions with a plethora of adorable hats and outfits.

Mama Nicole did a fantastic job crocheting all these great little hats. They just add to the total cuteness of this little guy. Welcome to the world, Gerrit!

Audrey to Auburn Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall

Addison’s newborn session is packed with all sorts of fun themes from Audrey Hepburn to Auburn Tigers. But before we get to all that, here is the little model herself with her proud mom and dad.

The Sock Monkey is a classic childhood companion and I love Audrey’s quizzical expression here. Too funny!

And if the sock monkey hat wasn’t cute enough for you, then this Auburn toboggan will certainly do the trick!

The rest of the session, we went super girly from frilly black tutus to pink polka dots and finally, a crown fit for royalty. Perfect for this little princess!

Cupcake Cutie Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

What’s better than a cupcake? A cake-sized cupcake!

Cake, Love, Crossbones has done it again with this incredible, edible, larger than life cupCAKE. It even has a “cherry” on top!

Avery is one of my Grow With Me babies – you may remember her newborn and six month sessions. As usual, she was all smiles as she modeled her custom outfit from Etsy and dug into her delicious birthday treat.

This picture had all of us laughing. It’s as if Avery is saying, “I can’t believe I’m turning one!!”

Such a little doll; it’s hard to believe a year has already passed since I first met this sweet girl. Just for fun, here’s one last shot of Avery in the same pumpkin basket we used at her newborn session. Happy first birthday, little one!

Secret Agent Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Meet Pierce. He totally wins the award for best newborn hair.

He joins two big brothers and a big sister in addition to a very proud mom and dad.

Mom wanted blues and oranges for this newborn shoot. We also included Pierce’s stuffed alligator which will be his Grow With Me item for upcoming sessions.

This burnt orange background was perfect with Pierce’s strawberry blonde spikes and he even treated us to a sleepy little smile at one point. The baby blue sweater is a family heirloom; doesn’t he look so peaceful napping in it?!

And for our final few shots, mom and dad brought in this amazing little car. We couldn’t resist adding the aviators and cap – a tribute to 007 and name-sharer, Pierce Brosnan.

Medieval Cathedral Mini Session Part 1 – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

Now that Christmas cards have been sent out, I can share this great holiday mini session shot near the Ely Cathedral.

This family is always a pleasure to work with as the kids are playful and fun. We were faced with some crazy winds on this particular day though you’d never know it by looking at these little models. They were practically professionals!

This was my last session with the B Family before they move back to the States. It’s been so special to see the kids grow up in front of my lens and turn into little ladies and men. Best of luck to all of you as you embark on your new adventure!

Little Bear Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

Meet Lilah, the second baby in her family to be photographed by Footsteps Photography.

Mom wanted lots of feminine touches for her little angel so we used all variations of pink props and girly accessories. The crocheted bear hat was a nod to big brother, Corbin, who goes by the nickname Baby Bear.

Speaking of big brother Corbin, he picked out this bear especially for his little sister, Lilah. So precious!

This sweet, chunky girl has already captured her daddy’s heart – can you blame him after seeing that sweet little smile?

The last shot of this session is so beautiful but I also want to note that it’s a composite so as to keep baby safe. This same branch was used in Corbin’s session and I love how we were able to incorporate so many similar themes yet make this tailored for Lilah at the same time. Such a little beauty – welcome to the world, little one!
