Berhorst Family Mini Shoot – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
I met up with Marissa and Brian again for a short and sweet mini shoot right before they moved back to the States. Wanting to really capture the beauty of East England, we chose the Ely cathedral as our location.

As you can see, they love their fur babies: Sydney and Penelope.

Little did we know the dogs would be such camera hogs. They didn’t want to let anyone else have a turn in front of the lens!

Berhorst’s, I hope these photos will be a happy reminder of the time you spend here in England!

Ricky Christmas Session Winner – Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
This past October, I held a Facebook contest where fans of Footsteps Photography could submit a non-professional photo and the family with the most number of “likes” would receive a free mini session plus ten digital photos. There were some great entries and at the final count, it was a close race. The Ricky family ended up winning with 231 likes for their image entry. WOW! What a competition all of those that entered gave.
T and J are parents to 22-month-old K; a little ball of energy with a great personality.
The leaves were just changing making for some beautiful images.
K stole the show with her sweet giggles and insatiable curiosity.
Congrats on being the contest winners, Ricky family! You have such a beautiful little girl with those hazel eyes and light blonde hair.

Bundle of Joy Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography
Catching up on some blog posts this morning with this little boy and his family.

Zoey Jane Bump and Bundle Session – Footsteps Photography RAF Lakenheath & Mildenhall
WOW, its been a busy October with lots of cute little babies born, family sessions and Christmas mini sessions taken place that I did not get to blog much during the month. Take a look at this session from this summer I realized that was never blogged, so take a look at adorable Zoey Jane and her mommy and daddy before she was born. Anytime one of my babies move back to the states I always miss seeing them at their grow with me and smash cake sessions. It amazing much they grow and change in that first year.

Maternity and Newborn Session Pretty in Purple- Footsteps Photography RAF Mildenhall
Wanting to provide the best and most unique experience for my clients, I’m always working on new props and accessories. I designed and sewed these versatile maternity gowns and was anxious to see how they’d look on camera. When I put out a call for a maternity model, Joanne answered at 38 weeks pregnant! We met on the last warm day of the year and the sunset was absolutely stunning, just like this beautiful mama.

I love that the gown can be worn open or closed, depending on your preference. Additional dresses are not far from finished production and will be available for maternity shoots with Footsteps Photography. I’ll be adding lots of fun colors as well. Isn’t Joanne a natural?!

The purple flower headband made an appearance on both mama and baby – it’s the little details that really make these photos so special.
Shortly after her maternity session, Joanne came back to see me with her husband, Andy and their new baby girl, Sophia! Joanne had been referred to me by her fellow moms from the Village Class. I do offer referral incentives so be sure to share Footsteps Photography with all your family and friends to receive a discount on your next session!

After seeing how photogenic her mom was, it came as no surprise that Sophia was a natural in front of the camera as well. She even stuck out her tongue for us!

This little lace headband and the name banner were purchased on Etsy. Joanne brought all sorts of beautiful props and I especially loved that the banner had been used at Sophia’s baby shower.

The cream color is a dream to work with and photographs so beautifully with the softness and perfection of babies natural skin tone. Its a favorite of mine to use during sessions.

For the last few shots of the session, we used the always popular cherry blossom background. The vintage pram is a studio prop and we personalized it by this handmade baby blanket Joanne used as a child.

Thank you, Joanne and Andy, for allowing me to capture these stunning images of your sweet family!
