Noah’s Ark 1 Year Grow With Me Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

After a year of documenting this little guy from snuggly newborn to a toy munching butterball and a man on the move, Noah has finally made it to the big number ONE!

We met up at his house in order to capture some of his favorite things. You’ll notice he likes to chew the nose off his bear above – little goofball! And this bench is the perfect spot as it depict Noah and all the animals in his ark.

With two older brothers to look up to, Noah gets up to plenty of mischief. It’s hard to believe when you see this cute face, though. Happy first birthday, Noah!

Sister, Sister Family Session – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath

These girls just get cuter and cuter with each passing month – you may remember Philippa from her newborn session several months ago. As before, mom styled her little cuties in soft neutrals making their bright smiles and beautiful eyes shine all the more.

Initially, this was meant to be a session featuring just the little ones, but mom soon joined in and the results are just precious.

You can tell these two just adore each other. There’s something special about the bond between sisters – and these sweet girls certainly have it!

Medieval Cathedral Mini Session Part 2 – Footsteps Photography, Family Photographer near RAF Lakenheath & Mildenhall

The second session from the Fall Mini Sessions is another family of five. This crew drove down all the way from Alconbury for their session and despite the trip, were in great spirits.

Each of the kids got a chance to be in the spotlight and show off their personalities. First up was Jadon who is nine.

Next up was three-year-old Annabelle.

And finally, middle brother, Liam, who is seven.

Mom and Dad even got some special shots with just the two of them before we took advantage of the beautiful views of the cathedral in the background.

I had a great time with this hilarious and wild bunch. Beautiful setting, giant personalities and colorful leaves. What’s not to love?!

Little Acorn Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

A giant congratulations to Andrew and Nicole on the birth of their little boy, Gerrit.

Gerrit was born just before Halloween which meant he would be making his grand debut on the family Christmas card this year. I think that’s just about the best gift anyone could ask for!

He was a great sport, letting us pose him in all different positions with a plethora of adorable hats and outfits.

Mama Nicole did a fantastic job crocheting all these great little hats. They just add to the total cuteness of this little guy. Welcome to the world, Gerrit!

Photography Class Click Mama Click – RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Amanda Webb of Footsteps Photography  and Jennifer Butterfield of JButterfield Photography  are teaming up to offer a 1 day photography course geared towards moms who want to get out of Auto mode and get better photos of their kids and/or learn more about your camera.

Do you have a new camera with lots of buttons and dials you don’t know they do?
Are you a mom just looking to take better photographs of your children?
Do you and your family travel and want to better document your journeys?
Are you stuck on Auto mode feature but would love to learn how to shoot on manual?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then this class is for you!!!

 Class size will be limited to 8 to keep the group small and allow more hands on learning and time for questions

 

Class includes:

  • Full day of learning from Jennifer and Amanda at a Historic English Estate near RAF Lakenheath
  • Lunch,  cupcakes, and warm drinks
  • A goodie bag with some of our favorite things including a great book to continue your learning
  • AND, class participants can share and ask follow up questions on a private facebook group

Participants should have/bring:

  • Weather appropriate clothing (wellies/boots highly recommended)
  • Pen and paper (tablet optional)
  • DSLR camera with fully charged battery and memory card (a 50mm prime lens is highly recommended, but not required)
  • Camera’s instruction manual
  • List of questions

Brief class syllabus

  1. We are going to be focusing more on the shooting aspect for this workshop
  2. Learning your camera and what the buttons do and when to use them (DSLR based cameras)
  3. Aperture, Shutter and Manual settings – when to use them
  4. Lighting your kids naturally
  5. A few key tricks to make a better visual image
  6. Modifiers – free and cheap
  7. Histograms
    (While the bulk of the camera information will be geared more towards DSLR cameras, the knowledge and tricks can apply to any camera type.)

Audrey to Auburn Newborn Session – Footsteps Photography, Newborn Photographer near RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall

Addison’s newborn session is packed with all sorts of fun themes from Audrey Hepburn to Auburn Tigers. But before we get to all that, here is the little model herself with her proud mom and dad.

The Sock Monkey is a classic childhood companion and I love Audrey’s quizzical expression here. Too funny!

And if the sock monkey hat wasn’t cute enough for you, then this Auburn toboggan will certainly do the trick!

The rest of the session, we went super girly from frilly black tutus to pink polka dots and finally, a crown fit for royalty. Perfect for this little princess!
