These two are expecting their first baby and judging by the laughter they shared, I suspect their little girl will be a lot of fun. Dad-to-be, Tyler, works in construction so we were able to visit one of his job sites for the shoot. And mom-t0-be created the perfect signs to announce their the big news.

Glam in Gold Smash Cake Session – Footsteps Photography, Child Photographer near RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath

Miss Marilyn celebrated her first birthday in style thanks to her mama’s great taste. I loved the black and gold as it’s really unusual for a little girl’s session.

For the smash cake portion, we went with a light and airy feel; playing up the girly tutu theme.

Mom fell in love with a cake she found on Pinterest and we were able to make her vision come to life. Not only did it look great, but Marilyn clearly thought it was tasty as well!

Sophie is funny, spunky, and about to head back to school. She wanted to capture an iconic British feel for her tween photoshoot, so it was off to the poppy fields.

I think her personality just shines through in these photos and I love that the bright colors match her zest and enthusiasm. There are certainly big things in store for this girl; I look forward to seeing where life’s adventures take you, Sophie!
